Immunization and Wellness Care for Dogs and Cats

Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

Birds

Providing proper medical care for birds requires specialized training and skills. We employ staff veterinarians who possess experience in the care and treatment of birds. Our staff veterinarians can advise you as to the dietary, maintenance, hygiene and medical needs of your feathered friend.

Rabbits

Surgery

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation; fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

Lasers

Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

UltraSound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
Radiology
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

Specialists

Sometimes conditions arise that require veterinarians with specialized training. Our Hospital works closely with and refers patients to certified veterinary cardiologists, dermatologists, oncologists, neurologists and ophthalmologists.

Blood Transfusion
We maintain a supply of blood for all types of pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease.

Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the used AVID microchip to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

Hospice / Euthanasia Services

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim, ear cleaning and anal gland expression.

Grooming
Our highly trained groomer possesses the expert knowledge needed to simultaneously offer skilled grooming services, safety and comfort to our patients.

Dog Boarding

Dog owners feed, nurture, and lavish attention on their "best friend". Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same for your dog when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep your dog healthy and happy.

Cat Boarding

Cat owners take the time to feed, nurture, and lavish attention on their feline(s). Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling) to keep your cat healthy and happy.

Avian Boarding

Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. We require that Avians have a Negative Chlymedia test every 3 years to board. We have cages available for the larger birds, but require that the smaller birds come with their own cages.
